Progress

Trey Songz album is crack.
really.

and realistically, I like Jay, but im not buying his album, sorry.
I was never a big HOV fan, so why should I get al hype about his albums now?
Oh yea, because everyone and they mama has jumped on the bandwagon to like whoever other people like.

and realistically,
people was NOT on drake a few years ago. he's had MADD money since he was like 13 man. Music was not his first source of income. Playing jimmy on Degrassi was. lol so don't act like he's brand new, because I was on him alonggg time ago.

And loso, he's been poplar for awhile, but not like he is now. I liked him and his music when he was rockin fubu when i was 14.
I'm just sayin.

Trey Songz didn't get as much play as he does now, when he had his braids.
I'm just sayin. I still bought his shit.

[real talk.]
People don't have a mind of their own anymore. they go with the flow and whoever is hot at the moment they latch onto their BALLS and suck em dry.
I'm just sayin.

But for the true fans, who have copped more than ONE of their albums, downloaded more than just 2 songs from their mixtape, and thought they was cute when they was ugly, I applaud you. you go girl! lol

I'm just sayin. It's madd annoying to see EVERYONE bumpin loso drake and trey in their stereos, when they wouldn't have even thought to download their songs a year ago.

But me, I've been had em' in rotation. And their not the only artists I'm listenin to 24/7 either. I still got my john legend, paramore, foo fighters, lauryn hill, css, and fall out boy easily accessible in my car. I don't need to know every bar to every song.

This aint school. no need to memorize everything to impress the teacher.

Love.

Drizzy

David says that's my new nickname, only because I'm still bumpin track 7 in my car non-stop. Who cares, Drake is coming to Atlanta soon anyways, so I already know there is about to be HELLA groupies out there trying to grap his goods. smh.

I will admit that I have been MIA. But, I have good reason. I've been working hella hours, but with no complaints.. keeping up my grades in school [gotta keep myself on the dean's list!], and I just landed me an internship with Street Report Magazine. But the best news of all is... me and Beno found our apartment! This is the business I'm too hype. So with all of that said, I will indeed be in Atlanta this summer, working and doing my internship... which I am using for school credit [chea].

Happy belated bday Na'taya. She turned 20 this past Friday, and had a surprise birthday party at her house, which resulted in some un-lady-like activities aka... fighting. Yep, I said it. And the whole situation was completely ridiculous, but it happened, and I had my friends' back. I truly am the baddest huh?
:].

My birthday is April 14th man. I'll be 20. Only a few more days left!!!
How will you make my day of birth special?

A Night Off - Drake ft Lloyd

In love. Story of my LIFE.

Of course I have been playing Drake's new mixtape So Far Gone, in my car nonstop since I downloaded it the day it came out. I can't really say that I dislike any of the tracks, otherwise I would not have the CD on repeat, yea? Anyways, I don't even have to hear any feedback from anyone else on how they like or dislike the mixtape, because I know for a fact that this mixtape is launching his career to new high he probably couldn't even imagine. No lies. The CD is hella bomb, and I been hearing madd niggas bumpin it in their cars as well as chicks like me. It's a hit, to say the least. And, as I always have since he was the nappy headed Jimmy on Degrassi, I love Drake man. And not in the little teenie bopper "I love N'Sync kind of way. I love Drake as a artist, and uh yea, he is a studmuffin. But his music is crack, and everybody knows it. He's lucky he linked up with Trey Songz and Weezy for sure. I mean, he was raw, but being on ONE track, let alone 8754754354389 with Weezy F. Baby [Please say the Baby], like Drake has, is going to get you noticed.

And Drake is definitely being noticed. Big time Poppa.

And now to one of my fav. songs on the mixtape.
